Last night, Team Vitality won its very first Age of Empires II title, thanks to Hamzah “Hera” El-Baher's victory in the final of Red Bull Wololo: Londinium, one of the most prestigious tournaments for the game. This final was particularly special for Team Vitality, as both opponents played under the colours of the French club.
Held in London's iconic Royal Albert Hall, the event transformed this historic venue into a true arena for the world's best players. It brought together thousands of online spectators and a sold-out crowd on-site.

HERA IMPERIAL THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Living up to the event, Hera delivered a dominant performance from start to finish, culminating in a Grand Final victory against his teammate Kai “Liereyy” Kallinger (5-4). This victory is part of an exceptional start to the 2026 season for the player, who secures a second consecutive title after his triumph at the T90 Titans League 5: Platinum League, thus consolidating his place among the world's best players.
Team Vitality's collective performance is also noteworthy, with a magnificent second place for Kai “Liereyy” Kallinger and a sixth place for Hernan “Hearttt” Pizarro. These results illustrate the roster's depth and competitiveness.
Ahead of the tournament, all three players benefited from Team Vitality's training facilities, notably during a bootcamp organised at the Stade de France, contributing to their optimal preparation.
"We are extremely happy to secure another victory for Team Vitality, this time at our very first LAN on Age of Empires II. And what better place than the Royal Albert Hall in London to achieve this? As tournament favourites, we were keen not to leave empty-handed, and we achieved an exceptional result with a first and second place," declared Danny Engels, Corporate Director of Global Operations at Team Vitality. "We are proud to have won in front of the passionate Age of Empires community. I hope this performance will inspire fans worldwide and encourage them to join the Hive. We continue our ambition to lift even more trophies and become the best club in the world."
A SUCCESSFUL BET FOR TEAM VITALITY
This success marks the French club's triumphant entry into the Age of Empire II scene, with a first LAN trophy just months after joining the game in January 2026. With this victory, the club continues to strengthen its footprint across several competitive scenes and confirms its status as a leading organisation in global esports.
Following this momentum, Team Vitality will co-organise its own major LAN tournament on Age of Empires II alongside BEING Esports: The Garrison 2026. The event will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from November 25 to 29, 2026. It will bring together up to 1,000 spectators and is becoming a significant event on the Age of Empires circuit.
