Team Vitality is proud to announce its support for the second edition of the Elite FE competitions organized by player and streamer Minaleyy. In partnership with Skin.Club, this event entirely dedicated to women's Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams brings together the best international players to compete in a high-level competition. For each tournament, the cash prize will be €1000.
With only 6% of women present in professional esports, the Elite FE tournament has the mission to promote female talent on the CS2 scene and strengthen their visibility throughout the year. This initiative is part of a global effort aimed at encouraging more diversity and inclusion in the esports sector.
A SPRINGBOARD FOR WOMEN'S CS2 TEAMS
The Elite FE tournament will bring together 16 international women's teams, including 4 selected by Minaleyy, in collaboration with Team Vitality and Skin.Club to compete on the FaceIt platform. At each tournament, the winning team will be awarded a cash prize of €1000 as well as various prizes, including Team Vitality merchandise and gaming equipment.
Starting February 23, the entire tournament will be broadcast live on Twitch hosted by Minaleyy accompanied by various casters. Debriefs and game analyses will be produced to engage the conversation on social media. And various video content such as best-ofs will also be produced to contribute to the visibility of the participating teams.
Designed as a real "warm-up" for professional teams before the ESL Impact season, the Elite FE tournaments will take place every two months starting in February 2025, with matches scheduled on Sundays to maximize participation and audience. By synchronizing with major esports events, Elite FE positions itself as a ground for development and training for teams wishing to progress to a professional level.
This tournament embodies a competitive, positive, and inclusive vision of diversity in esports. By creating regular events, Elite FE aspires to become a must-attend event for Counter-Strike 2 players, while actively contributing to highlighting female talent.
TEAM VITALITY CONTINUES ITS COMMITMENT TO WOMEN'S ESPORTS
By supporting the Elite FE tournament organized by Minaleyy, Team Vitality affirms its strong commitment to the development of women's esports. This competition offers players, whether semi-professional or amateur, a unique platform to hone their skills, gain visibility, and integrate into a scene fully evolving towards more diversity.
This initiative follows the actions already carried out by the organization, notably with the creation of the League of Legends: Rising Bees women's team, as well as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang women's team, competing on the Indonesian scene. These projects reflect Team Vitality's desire to actively support the emergence of new inspiring figures, both competitively and community-wise. The club and Minaleyy are delighted with the integration of Skin.Club within the project to guarantee the best conditions of success for the project and maximum visibility for the players within the Counter-Strike ecosystem.
