World-class coaching staff for Team Vitality's CS:GO team

zonic and Lars reinforce MaT and Matthieu in the management of the most ambitious CS:GO team in the world.

Following the announcement of its new CS:GO roster, Team Vitality unveils its coaching staff, which aims to provide all the conditions required for performance at the highest global level. By bringing together renowned Danish and French talents to support the new international dimension and sporting ambition of the project, Team Vitality has chosen complementarity in continuity.

The most successful coach in the history of Counter Strike joins the ranks of Team Vitality, as Head Coach. Danny " zonic " Sørensen is a 35-year-old Dane who has been playing on the Counter Strike circuit for many years. First a player, it is as a coach that his talent exploded in the eyes of the world, particularly following his 4 victories on Majors with Astralis. zonic is recognized as one of the greatest coaches in the history of the game, entered the Hall of Fame in Denmark and will be elected coach of the year in 2019 and 2020 by his peers. His experience and his pedagogy will be key in the development of the nascent collective of the new CS: GO team of Team Vitality.

Team Vitality aims to be one of the most serious competitors at the Majors in the next three years. The organization puts its athletes in the best conditions by recruiting Lars Robl , performance manager and sports psychologist. Lars worked for over 20 years for the Danish special forces before moving towards a career as a sports psychologist during which he accompanied canoe athletes to the Olympic Games and esports athletes to the CS:GO Majors. This performance professional maintains a relationship of trust with the team in order to reveal its full potential. Lars notably demonstrated the extent of his talent alongside Astralis for 4 years and accompanied the Danish team to the summits of Counter Strike.

Mathieu “ Mat ” Leber remains on the Team Vitality roster. A former player and experienced assistant coach, he has proven to be a major asset in the team’s recent CS:GO successes. Mathieu will assist zonic in developing athletes and building team spirit.

The CS: GO team will continue to be accompanied by Matthieu Péché , manager of the Team Vitality squad. The Olympic medalist has been supporting Counter Strike athletes since 2019 and brings all his experience as a former professional athlete.
