TEAM VITALITY REMPORTE LE MLBB WOMEN’S INVITATIONAL À L’ESPORTS WORLD CUP POUR LA DEUXIÈME ANNÉE CONSÉCUTIVE

TEAM VITALITY WINS MLBB WOMEN'S INVITATIONAL AT ESPORTS WORLD CUP FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Team Vitality's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) women's team has retained its title as champion of the MLBB Women's Invitational (MWI) at the Esports World Cup. In the grand final, the team won 4-2 against Natus Vincere (NaVi PH). Thanks to this success, Team Vitality clinched a second consecutive MWI title and achieved its second double after 2022-2023.

This achievement also strengthens Team Vitality's position in the Esports World Cup Club Championship, earning them an additional 1,000 points in the overall standings. Moreover, the final recorded a record audience of 534,219 concurrent viewers.

A HOME VICTORY IN FRONT OF THEIR PARISIAN CROWD

For the Esports World Cup, sixteen of the best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang women's teams gathered in Paris to compete in the MLBB Women's Invitational (MWI).

Team Vitality started their competition perfectly in Group B with a clear 2-0 victory against MIBR.LOS, before winning again 2-0 against Gen.G Esports and qualifying for the playoffs.

Carried by this momentum, the team then eliminated Team Falcons ID with a score of 2-1 in the quarterfinals to reach the final four. In the semi-finals, they confirmed their excellent form by dominating Geltek Cyber Team 3-1, thus validating their place in the grand final.

To conclude the tournament, Team Vitality took revenge on NaVi PH, winning authoritatively 4-2, thus retaining their MLBB Women's Invitational champion title. Thanks to exemplary cohesion, remarkable tactical mastery, and resilience throughout the competition, Team Vitality's women's team lifted their trophy in front of an enthusiastic Parisian crowd. This new victory cements their status as a global benchmark in women's Mobile Legends.

A LEGENDARY TRACK RECORD

With four MWI championship titles to their name, Team Vitality's MLBB women's team has established itself as one of the most decorated teams in the entire global esports scene.

After announcing a historic contract extension earlier this year, the entire roster has committed to continuing their journey under the Team Vitality banner until 2030. This stability demonstrates the club's ambition to build a sustainable project around this exceptional team, while highlighting Southeast Asian talents and inspiring a new generation of female players worldwide.

This victory at the Esports World Cup enriches Team Vitality's legacy on the international stage. Since its arrival on the MLBB women's scene in 2024, the organization has continuously raised the standards of the discipline, combining sporting excellence with the desire to promote the role of women in esports.

"This second consecutive title for our MLBB team rewards a formidable journey at the Esports World Cup. We are extremely proud to support them in this victory and to see them, once again, triumph at the pinnacle of the international scene. Our queens retain their crown and prove, once again, that they are currently the best team in the world. " said Danny Engels, Chief International Officer of Team Vitality.

"Congratulations to Team Vitality for this remarkable title defense, as well as to all the teams that participated in the MWI of the Esports World Cup 2026. This edition brought together the highest and most international level in the history of the competition, illustrating the significant progress of women's esports on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The MWI has become a true global championship, offering more opportunities for women to compete on the international stage while introducing MLBB to new audiences around the world. " explained Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystems at MOONTON GAMES.
