MATTHIEU PÉCHÉ STEPS DOWN AS COUNTER-STRIKE TEAM MANAGER. AMY ‘Aphiren’ SNOWDON BECOMES THE NEW MANAGER
Today, we bid farewell to a valued member of our Counter-Strike team: Matthieu Péché. After five remarkable years with Team Vitality as Team Manager, he will step down after the Perfect World Major in Shanghai.
Matthieu joined Team Vitality in October 2019, becoming the very first Olympic athlete to join an esports organization. Over the years, he brought his expertise in sports, nutrition, and performance to our team, playing a crucial role in the development of our athletes. His dedication and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in our rise to the top of the Counter-Strike scene.
After 5 years as our CS Team Manager it is time to say goodbye to @matthiuePECHE as he goes on a new adventure!
When he joined Vitality back in 2019, we had no idea of the heights we'd inevitably reach together culminating in our Major victory in Paris in 2023.

As Matthieu prepares his leave, we are pleased to announce that Amy May Snowdon, also known as ‘Aphiren’, will join Team Vitality as the new Team Manager. Amy has already started working with Team Vitality to ensure a smooth transition. She was present at the Intel Extreme Masters in Rio 2024 and will stand-in for Péché at the BLAST World Finals in Singapore.
Amy comes from the world of esports, with extensive experience as a Senior Player and Talent Manager at BLAST, ESL, and Riot. Her deep industry knowledge and player-management expertise will be invaluable to the team. She will officially take full responsibility for the team starting in 2025.
We want to give both Matthieu and Amy the visibility and respect they deserve, while ensuring a smooth transition within the Counter-Strike team.
