As it was announced on the 21st of September Team Vitality have been accepted as a partner team in the upcoming EMEA VCT League. We’ve had great success with winning the French VRL league this summer, and now we’ve set our sights on conquering the rest of the EMEA region.

We’re still hard at work finalising the roster we believe in, but we are very happy to announce that we have found the commander to lead the squad into Europe!

Please join us as we welcome Salah “Salah” Barakat as the Head Coach for our VALORANT team!

“I’m very happy and proud to be joining Team Vitality and I’m pumped to get started and lead us to a lot of victories in the upcoming VCT”, says Salah. He joins us after having worked with teams like Faze Clan, and most recently OG LDN UTD, and he will be implementing a very hands on approach within the team.

“I have a very clear vision of how the team should operate in and out of the game in terms of VALORANT. I will be working hard every single day to lead the team with this vision, and make sure that we are all on the same page at all times.”“I really value good communication and being able to give constructive feedback to each other. It’s never fun to have to listen to criticism, but I believe it’s important to communicate honestly and openly about this in a team environment. That way you can fix the shortcomings much faster and raise our level of play”, Salah explains.

While we still don’t know what the full roster is at this moment, Salah assures us that they are working hard on it.

“It is of course an ongoing process, but every day I work with the rest of the esports team on finding the right roster of players to take us to the top. I can’t reveal anything at the moment, but I am very hopeful that we are gonna have a winning team. Just hang in there”

Salah will be working alongside the rest of the VALORANT management team consisting of Rob Mulgan (Team Manager) & Harry Mepham (Analyst) in our Berlin performance center.
