League of Legends
New League of Legends team
Team Vitality is proud to introduce its new League of Legends team. For the 2018 season, we will continue to develop the project that YamatoCannon started in Summer Split 2017. Thus, after long weeks of work during the free agency window, we decided to focus our recruitment plan around a younger team with great potential. We are counting on the hard work and the motivation of this group to gain momentum throughout the season to achieve the main goal of any LCS team: the World Championship. Along with Cabochard, we are happy to welcome Gilius (jungle), Jiizuké (midlane), Minitroupax (ad carry) and Jactroll (support). These 4 players played together under the banner of Giants during the previous split and already have strong teamwork skills, that will integrate our toplaner, who will be starting his third year in Vitality, into it.
“I put my trust in Jakob and I'm fully confident in the project that we've built around his vision. He's the perfect man to coach our young players and we will be 100% behind him to make sure the team grows and improves. We can not wait to start EU LCS ! #VforVictory”
Fabien “Neo” Devide“I have built a roster with a very clear common denominator, hunger and motivation that have not been seen before on this scene. I am certain we will grow at a rapid rate, faster than any other team in the EULCS. In Western esports, comfort breeds weakness and the work ethic of a team defines it's success, so I am very excited about the mix of leaders and rookies we have going into 2018. With the change of format to Bo1s, innovation, strategy and perspective are going to be even more important and all of us over at Vitality have plans to field hungry, driven individuals in fundamental positions to ensure success. More on that coming soon.”
Jakob “YamatoCannon” MebdiWith the players already practicing and training together, you will have the opportunity to see them in action from Friday, January 19, 2018 in our first game of the season against H2K.
