Crédit Agricole has become a partner of Team Vitality, the largest esport club in France, and main partner of the Vitality School.  In line with the Crédit Agricole Group’s Societal Project, which aims to support the transformation of our societies, this partnership consolidates the support provided to young people in a digital and human field that gives everyone a place.

Team Vitality, one of the world’s leading esport clubs, is proud to announce a partnership with Crédit Agricole, whose 39 Regional Banks cover the French territory. Team Vitality and Crédit Agricole will work closely together on opportunities to make esports accessible to all through engaging activations and programs.

Crédit Agricole has long been involved in supporting young people and is thus strengthening its concrete actions focused on employment, training, solidarity, sports and financial support for young people. Built to support young people as closely as possible to their passion, this partnership will see Crédit Agricole become the main sponsor of the Vitality School.

Created in August 2020 and having trained more than 200 trainees since then, the Vitality School offers young people aged 12 and over the unique opportunity to take part in esport and gaming courses during the school vacations. Aimed at gamers of all levels, the Vitality School covers a wide range of comprehensive topics including the history of Team Vitality, the daily life of an esport athlete and the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Crédit Agricole’s involvement includes the integration of its logo on the Vitality School jersey as well as increased support to take this unique experience to the next level.

The partnership also includes Team Vitality’s French League Of Legends (LFL), Rocket League, FIFA, Fortnite players and teams. Crédit Agricole will be highlighted on all media and content, especially during competitions. Other activations are also in preparation and will be unveiled in the coming months.

Nicolas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality, said: “It’s an honor to partner with such an iconic French institution as Crédit Agricole, an iconic top 10 bank worldwide. At Team Vitality, we have always viewed education and development as a key pillar not only for our athletes but also for our community, so it is great to collaborate with an entity that shares these values. The work we’ll be doing together will aim to open as many doors as possible for young people in esports and gaming, and I look forward to seeing the Team Vitality community get involved.”

For Michel Ganzin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A., “This partnership is part of our desire to strengthen social cohesion and inclusion, especially among young people. By reaching out to them through the growing interest in esports, Crédit Agricole wants to be a vector of links: between all the generations that play the game, but also between players from all the regions of our territory, whatever their difficulties or handicaps. Esport federates and develops, and it is by promoting this type of inclusive actions that we can concretely participate in the in-depth transformation of our society”.
