Team Vitality, a leading esports club in France and internationally, is excited to present its latest roster ahead of the launch of the competitive mobile game Honor of Kings. This new team is set to make its competitive debut at the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2, which kicks off on June 29.
A TEAM READY TO TAKE ON THE REST OF THE WORLD
Composed of talented international players with varied profiles, the Honor of Kings team becomes the fourteenth roster of the French club. The latter is ready to take its first steps on the international scene during the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 which takes place in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
During this competition, Team Vitality will be among 13 international teams that will compete for first place and have the chance to participate in the Midseason Honor of Kings Invitational that will be held during this summer's Esports World Cup.
Roster composition
- Giorgio “Nighty” Hu – 19 years old – Clash: A fan of mobile MOBA games, Nighty recently arrived on Honor of Kings with the ambition of participating in international tournaments while playing his favorite game.
- Giovanni “Shanks” Song – 18 years old – Jungle: After winning the Turkish Honor of Kings Championship in 2022, Shanks takes on a new challenge with Team Vitality.
- Martin “hailand” Raza – 18 years old – Mid: He is the youngest member of the team who is making his debut as a professional player. Hailand is known for his prowess in midfield and his kindness off the server.
- Jannis “Jasch” Schimmel – 24 years old – Farm: After gaining notoriety on other mobile MOBA games, Jasch moved to Honor of Kings. He quickly became a very successful player. He reached this level of play thanks to his daily training and his constant desire to surpass himself.
- Changpeng “Ctboy” Qi – 22 years old – Roam: After winning the Turkish Honor of Kings Championship in 2022 with his teammate Shanks, Ctboy has chosen to continue with his teammate. Together, they want to show their ambitions on the international stage.
- Benjamin “Benji” Bourdeau – 21 years old – Roam: Driven by his passion for the game and his unwavering determination, French player Benji regularly ranks in the Top 10 of the European Honor of Kings rankings. Benji also won the 2022 European Championship. He continued to play in regional tournaments in the MENA region before joining Team Vitality to consolidate their international project.
- Jie “Andy” Zhang – 22 years old – Coach: Former champion of the southwest division of a major Chinese national competition, then youth coach for Estar Pro, Andy now joins Team Vitality with the desire to lead his team to the top.
- Sabrina “Sya” Starke – 26 years old – Team Manager: With a wealth of experience and a track record of success, Sya knows how to develop a team’s capabilities and lead them to success.
To put this team in the best conditions, the latter went to China to carry out a series of bootcamps with local teams. The objective was to learn from the best players within an ecosystem that allows everyone to refine their skills. Beyond showing their ambitions, the team was also able to visit the headquarters of the game developer TiMi Studio Group in Chengdu (China).
Sabrina “Sya” Starke – Team Manager of Honor of Kings Team Vitality explains: “The bootcamp in China taught us a lot. And we made many contacts and friends within the mobile esports scene. We are looking forward to implementing this knowledge on the international stage and representing Europe at the Honor of Kings Invitational 2024 Season 2. Although we are a relatively new team, we are confident and ready to compete against more experienced players.”
TEAM VITALITY JOINS HONOR OF KINGS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Level Infinite, Honor of Kings is already the most-played mobile MOBA in the world with over 100 million daily active users. This number is expected to increase when the game launches globally on June 20. Honor of Kings already has an impressive esports ecosystem. The game recently announced a $15 million investment to grow amateur and professional esports.
