Team Vitality, a leading international French esports club, is proud to announce the extension of its prodigy player Alexis "zen" Bernier until 2026. In just one year of his career, zen has already made Rocket League history with his unprecedented performances.

This year, the 17-year-old even made it into the prestigious Forbes “30 under 30” ranking in the Sports & Games category of the European region. Zen’s contract renewal underlines Team Vitality’s desire to maintain its status as the world’s best Rocket League team and to enshrine the player in the club’s legend.

FROM ROUGH DIAMOND TO WORLD CHAMPION

In 2022, Alexis revealed himself by participating in 1V1 showmatches on the channel of the caster JohnnyBoi_i. Undefeated and insolently talented, he quickly became a phenomenon and reinvented the very way of playing the game. Thanks to his mind-blowing creativity and his unprecedented mechanical accuracy, zen was quickly considered the best player in the world. He had never played in an official competition before.

At 16, Zen finally takes his first steps in official competition under the colors of the Bees. He joins the roster from the third split of the RLCS in April 2023 and makes a smashing entrance. Alongside his teammates and friends, Alpha54 and Radosin, he goes far beyond the wildest expectations.

Indeed, the French trio remains undefeated in single-elimination matches during the RLCS 2023 season. This is the first and only time in the history of the game that a team has achieved the perfect Split, that is, winning 3 regionals in a row followed by the Major. The team even reached the top of the competition by winning the prestigious Rocket League World Championships 2023 in Düsseldorf. And as if that wasn't enough, zen was awarded the title of best player of the tournament on the same occasion.

In 2024, the team has already won a first regional and two qualifiers for the Majors (Copenhagen and London) in a fierce European competition. Zen's rise within the ranks of Team Vitality continues and his in-game performances continue to impress.

On the occasion of the re-signing of Zen, Team Vitality is proud to announce the release of a series of special jerseys in a very limited edition.

The club's classic black and blue jerseys will feature gold flocking on the player's name as well as on the two stars on the front.
