Paris, November 10, 2023 – Team Vitality and its partner hummel are delighted to present their very first pair of lifestyle sneakers. This latest piece of the anniversary collection is launched through the “CROSS THE AGES” campaign. It traces how the two brands managed to create a collectible sneaker in homage to the club’s heritage.

A MUST HAVE THAT COMBINES STYLE AND GAMING

Team Vitality and hummel today unveil a new unique collector's item, designed for both fans of the club and lifestyle/streetwear fashion enthusiasts. The model is a modern adaptation of the legendary pair of sneakers from the 90s, the classic hummel Stockholm LXE.

Design-wise, the VIT.X features Team Vitality's iconic bee logo on the side of the shoe. It features the club's traditional colors: yellow, black and white, with the model's name written on the heel. The "X" echoes the club's 10th anniversary, and incorporates the communication codes developed by the club throughout the year.

Worn with a casual or more sportswear outfit, the VIT.X sneaker is set to become a symbol of Team Vitality's unique identity, marking a bridge between nostalgia and the avant-garde of gaming culture.

THE CAMPAIGN THAT EXTENDS TEAM VITALITY'S ANNIVERSARY

The campaign takes fans on a journey through Team Vitality's 10-year history, mixing current trends with retrogaming references. To kick off the campaign, Team Vitality released an 8-bit game, featuring Albie, their mascot and biggest fan, traveling through the last decade and battling enemies to discover the VIT.X sneaker.

Fans who complete the mini-game will receive an exclusive edition of the sneakers, including a sneaker bag, LEGENDS anniversary cards and Team Vitality stickers. The special edition pair of sneakers is limited to the first 100 in-game purchases. Finally, fans who purchase the VIT.X sneakers will also receive them as a wearable for their avatar in the club's V.Hive app .

The VIT.X sneakers perfectly capture the essence of 90s nostalgia, aligning with the Y2K trend and the resurgence of retro gaming. With the VIT.X sneakers, Team Vitality and hummel invite fans to take part in their remarkable journey through the esports industry and gaming culture.
