Paris: March 11, 2021 It is with great pride that the European leader and major player in the global esports scene Team Vitality announces the arrival of Guillaume de Monplanet as Managing Director and Co-CEO. Guillaume joins the French team after more than 20 years of experience in the sports and lifestyle industries, notably at adidas and Reebok. A leading sports organization, Team Vitality has chosen Guillaume to achieve its global expansion objectives with already established footholds in India and Germany.

This arrival marks a turning point in the history of Team Vitality, which continues its ambition to become the world leader in the field of esports. It is also a key moment for the sector, with the arrival of one of the most influential figures in the sports industry, at the initiator of the growth of some of the world's biggest brands.

Guillaume’s arrival at Team Vitality marks his entry into the esports industry, after 8 years at adidas where he held the position of CEO of adidas France, in charge of finance with responsibility for more than 700 employees. In his role, Guillaume has reorganized and advanced the organizational infrastructure of the company, with a new headquarters and a leadership team focused on inclusion and diversity. Previously, Guillaume was Brand Director France Reebok and spearheaded the brand by asserting its positioning and growth within the adidas group.

In his role at Team Vitality, Guillaume will use his skills in business management and growth, as well as his experience working in several major international cities, to develop Team Vitality’s brand awareness around the world. He will also work to refine the company’s structure to ensure efficiency is a founding value and affirm its desire to strengthen its position beyond the borders of esports.
