Today, we say goodbye to a valuable member of our Counter-Strike team: Matthieu Péché. After five memorable years with Team Vitality as Team Manager, his last tournament will be the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
Matthieu Péché joined Team Vitality in October 2019, becoming the first-ever Olympian to join an esports organization. Over the years, he has brought his expertise in sports, nutrition and performance to our team, playing a key role in the development of our athletes. His expertise and commitment to excellence have been essential to reaching the top of the scene.

When he joined Vitality back in 2019, we had no idea of the heights we'd inevitably reach together culminating in our Major victory in Paris in 2023.

As Matthieu prepares to hand over the reins, we are pleased to announce that Amy May Snowdon, aka “Aphiren”, will be joining Team Vitality as our new Team Manager. Amy has already started working with Team Vitality to ensure a smooth transition. Already present at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024, she will also accompany the team for the BLAST World Finals in Singapore.
Amy comes from the world of esports, with extensive experience as a Senior Player and Talent Manager at BLAST, ESL and Riot. Her industry expertise and deep knowledge of the players will be invaluable assets to the team. She will officially take full responsibility for the team starting in 2025.
We wanted to give Matthieu and Amy the visibility and respect they deserve, while ensuring a smooth transition within the Counter-Strike team.
