TEAM VITALITY AND ALDI OFFER AWARENESS DAY ON WOMEN IN ESPORTS

•   As part of its partnership with ALDI, Team Vitality is proud to organize Rising Day on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, 2025 at V.Hive, an event dedicated to the place of women in esports.
• This immersive day will feature interactive experiences, competitions with the Rising Bees – Team Vitality’s female League of Legends team – and discussions to raise awareness and encourage diversity in gaming. Through various activities, the event aims to break stereotypes and inspire the next generation of female gamers.
• With Rising Day, Team Vitality reaffirms its commitment to a more inclusive esports that promotes equal opportunities and encourages more women to make their mark on the competitive scene.

On March 8, 2025, on the occasion of International Women's Day, Team Vitality is organizing Rising Day, a unique event in their premises aimed at promoting the place of women in esports. This free immersive day, open to the public, will offer a varied program combining expert panels, interactive experiences, team challenges with Rising Bees players and awareness-raising spaces. The objective is to promote inclusion, ambition and sisterhood through the prism of gaming and competition.

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., participants will be invited to enjoy a unique experience with several workshops and experiences around esports:

• Round table “The Future of Women in Esport” from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.: A panel bringing together players, influencers (such as Loupiote, Marie Palot, and Minaleyy) and committed figures from the sector. They will discuss the impact of initiatives and support programs for players, the evolution of women's competitions and their economic impact and finally careers in esports beyond the status of player. The public will be able to ask questions live and share their own experiences.
• Meet & Greet from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: Participants will be able to interact directly with the Rising Bees players and the ambassadors present.
• “Rise & Compete” interactive gaming experience from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Gaming sessions against and in teams with the Rising Bees on League of Legends, esports quizzes but also challenges to illustrate the importance of collaboration and collective intelligence.
• Photoshoot from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Participants will have the opportunity to wear the Team Vitality Lifestyle collection, and be photographed like our professional players.
• Collaborative fresco, available all day: Participants will be able to write a message on a collaborative fresco around the theme “the future of esports according to you”.

At the heart of Rising Day, a roundtable will bring together esports experts to explore the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly evolving sector.

The first part will explore the future of women in esports, highlighting the impact of support initiatives and programs, the evolution of women's competitions and their economic challenges, as well as the different career opportunities beyond the role of player.

Part two will focus on managing social media toxicity and player mental well-being. Alongside several Rising Bees players, discussions will focus on how to navigate social media while combating toxicity, strategies for creating a safer gaming environment, and the importance of mental preparation in competitive performance.

For 4 years now, Team Vitality has made the development of women's esports its hobbyhorse. The highlight of their fight: the creation of the women's team the French Bees in partnership with ALDI in 2023, which became Rising Bees in 2024. Together, the two brands are participating in the creation of a fairer and more mixed esports ecosystem. Through Rising Day, Team Vitality reaffirms its desire to advance the fight for inclusivity in esports, break down barriers and offer opportunities to female players.
