Team Vitality once again made it to the finals of a major tournament by winning IEM Dallas 2025 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. A special mention goes to zywOo who once again managed to put in remarkable performances throughout the competition. Dressed in their new yellow jerseys, the roster players proved unbeatable. They now have their eyes fixed on the key event of the year, the Austin Major next June.
A NEW TROPHY FOR THE BEES OF TEAM VITALITY
In the group stage, the team had a flawless run, successively winning against Legacy (2-0), GamerLegion (2-0) and then The MongolZ (2-1), thus validating its direct access to the semi-finals. Once again facing Team Falcons, Team Vitality delivered a particularly hard-fought match (2-1), concluding with a fourth victory against this team in only 31 days. Finally, the roster led by captain and IGL Dan “apEX” Madesclaire concluded another controlled final against MOUZ this Sunday evening since DreamHack Dallas.
This latest victory against MOUZ extends Team Vitality's incredible unbeaten streak to 30 consecutive matches and marks a sixth consecutive Grand Finals victory since the beginning of the year. By winning in Dallas, at the legendary Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, the roster achieved another triumph on a stage steeped in Counter-Strike history.
AND A NEW CHAPTER OF HISTORY BEING WRITTEN ON COUNTER-STRIKE 2
This sixth title of the year confirms Team Vitality's position as the global leader in Counter-Strike and marks the club as the team to beat for the remainder of the 2025 competitive calendar. Starting next month, the journey will continue at the BLAST Austin Major, followed by IEM Cologne in July, with the ambition to continue making history intact.
This achievement also reinforces the historic goal of a second consecutive ESL Grand Slam, a feat never before achieved in the history of esports.
