Team Vitality signs Justinas “jL” Lekavičius as a sub on its Counter-Strike 2 roster

Team Vitality announced that Justinas "jL" Lekavičius is joining the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster as a substitute.

Justinas "jL" Lekavičius is one of the most captivating and well-known players in the Counter-Strike scene. He is renowned for his fearless rifling style, communicative personality, and ability to make a difference in decisive moments. Crowned MVP of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024, jL has become a fan favorite among CS enthusiasts.

The 26-year-old Lithuanian joins Team Vitality as a substitute for upcoming competitions. His official debut under the Team Vitality colors will be at BLAST Open Porto 2026, where he will replace William "mezii" Merriman. Team Vitality has also confirmed jL's presence at the PGL Masters Bucharest in October, where he will replace Dan "apEX" Madesclaire for the entire duration of the tournament. In these competitions, jL will take over from mezii and apEX, who are both awaiting happy events with their respective partners.

« When you're a Counter-Strike fan, you follow the best players. Today, I have the opportunity to play with each of them. My goal is to integrate as well as possible: I can't be mezii or apEX, but I can arrive as mechanically prepared as possible to give us the best chance of winning. And then, with ZywOo on the team, we always have a chance to go for the trophy. The goal is to win one tournament, and if luck is on our side, why not two. »
