Leading esports club Team Vitality welcomes a brand new team to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) game. The club acquires the most prominent women's team on the scene, Bigetron Era. This is the tenth game that the French organization has welcomed into its structure as part of its international expansion. This is a new milestone for the club, which strengthens its position in the development of women's esports and the mobile esports market.
A DYNAMITE TEAM TO CONQUER MOBILE GAMES
Team Vitality is proud to announce the acquisition of Bigetron Era Women's Team, the undisputed leaders of the MLBB scene. Composed of talented Indonesian players, this new roster impresses with its cohesion, expertise and passion for the game. They are formidable opponents on the game's virtual battlefield.
Roster composition
- Vivi “Vivian” Indrawaty – 25 years old – Roamer
Vivian is equipped with micro and macro skills, and a deep knowledge of the game. Her journey as an athlete began with habits she developed during her school years: after completing her classes, she would immediately go home to play via streaming. As a professional MLBB player since 2019, Vivian has accomplished many feats, both domestically and internationally.
- Venny “Fumi” Lim -23 years old- EXP Laner
Venny started her career in 2021 as a professional MLBB player with the role of EXP laner. Fumi is blessed with exceptional skills, which allows her to establish herself as one of the best EXP players in Indonesia.
- Viorelle “Vival” Chen -20 years old- Jungler
Vival is the youngest professional player on the team. She is known for her exceptional mechanical skills and plays as a jungler for the team in MLBB competitions. Vival, who hails from Jakarta, is known for her talent despite her young age. Before becoming a professional Mobile Legends player, she played DOTA 2 for 4 years.
- Cindy “Cinny” Siswanto -20 years old- Mid Laner
Cinny is Chel's younger sister. Born in Surabaya in 2004, two years apart from her sister, Cinny also proves her skills as a mid laner. Both of them strengthen the team. Playing with great precision and impeccable timing, the player is truly formidable on the game.
- Michelle “Chel” Siswanto -22 years old- Gold Laner
Chel began her esports career in 2020 on MLBB, where she initially played as a jungler. Chel's exceptional gameplay, precise positioning, and fast farming make her a formidable gold laner on the scene.
- Ilham “Susugajah” Hadi – 28 years old – Coach
Coach Susugajah is a former professional player of various MOBA games such as Mobile Legends, Wild Rift, and Arena of Valor. He started his career at Bigetron Esports as the coach of Bigetron Era, leading the team to victory in women's tournaments such as MWI 2023, WSL Season 7, and Unipin Ladies Season 3. His accomplishments as a coach are undeniable. Susugajah also briefly served as the coach of Bigetron Beta during MDL ID Season 8.
- Dewa “Dewa” Fabian – 23 years old – Analyst
Born in 2001, Dewa began his esports career in 2021. A former professional Wild Rift player, he has won several championships. After deciding to retire as a professional player on the same game, Dewa focused on Mobile Legends while engaging in live streaming. As an analyst, Dewa contributes to the development of the team's strategy, performance analysis, and overall improvement of gameplay.
Team Vitality has surrounded itself with the strongest team in the industry to dominate the mobile esports scene. The team has won several major championships, including the latest WSL Season 8, which earned them a spot in the Esports World Cup held in Riyadh in July this year. Over the past three years, the team has won over 20 trophies, including two consecutive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's Championship titles, as well as the gold medal for their home country, Indonesia, at the 2023 SEA Official Games.
Moonton, the publisher of MLBB, has invited the new team Team Vitality MLBB to participate in its Franchise League. As part of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League (MPL), the all-female team will compete in the upcoming MDL Season 10 against the best teams in Indonesia. As the first female team to join the MPL ecosystem, this development remains close to the hearts of French esports clubs, elevating the position of their second female roster and marking a step forward in women’s esports.
“We are thrilled to announce the integration of Bigetron Era into Team Vitality, this marks an important strategic shift for us. It is a huge honor to welcome one of the best teams in the world, regardless of gender, into our family. This partnership sets us up for success at the Esports World Cup and provides us with a golden opportunity to gain exposure in key markets such as Indonesia and mobile gaming. Team Vitality is committed to promoting women’s esports and we are honored to support and collaborate with such a talented team,” said Fabien ‘Neo’ Devide, Co-Founder and President of Team Vitality.
THE AMBITION TO WIN NEW TITLES AT THE EWC
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) women's competition takes place during the last week of July at the Esports World Cup 2024. This is the only women's stage to be represented at this major event. With their qualification already secured for the event and their status as competition favorites, Team Vitality's new players will have an exceptional opportunity to shine on the international stage.
The acquisition of this new team is also a major asset in the EWC club rankings, in which Team Vitality will compete for a total prize pool of $20,000,000. This program offers the opportunity for the various participating clubs to accumulate points based on their performances during the various matches of the competition. The winning team will be crowned champions of the first Esports World Cup at the end of August in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
EXPANDING AND STRENGTHENING THE TEAM VITALITY COMMUNITY AROUND THE WORLD
The addition of this new team to the Team Vitality family marks another significant step in the club’s global expansion strategy. By joining the MLBB competitive scene with Bigetron Era, the organization strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, where esports is enjoying unprecedented popularity.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has crossed the 1 billion download mark, with peaks of 100 million monthly players and more. In terms of esports, the MPL (MLBB Professional League) ranks among the most-watched esports events of all time, registering an impressive 5,067,107 viewers during its most recent M5 World Championship. MLBB thus provides an excellent opportunity for Team Vitality to further engage and expand its brand awareness in the mobile gaming space, following its presence in Call of Duty Mobile with Vitality India.
Furthermore, this is also Team Vitality's second women's team. Like the Rising Bees , the League of Legends women's roster, Team Vitality continues to develop women's esports by integrating talented players such as this new team.
By integrating these teams, Team Vitality wishes to develop and continue to give young women the means to take an interest in video games and esports.
