Team Vitality, Europe’s leading esports club, is pleased to announce the signing of Michał “MOLSI” Łącki, Tomas “Destrian” Linikas, and Karel “Twisten” Ašenbrener. The trio will compete in the new European competitive circuit VALORANT and join the Team Vitality roster of Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi and Jokūbas “ceNder” Labutis, who were previously part of the winning team in the French league – VRL 2022: Revolution Stage.
This new roster demonstrates Team Vitality's ambition to make its mark on the VCT landscape in 2023, in a format that has never been seen before in the VALORANT license. With a combination of European talent and the desire to become an international competitor, Team Vitality brings together a powerful roster made up of current players and new emerging talents. All this, guided by an experienced coaching staff.
The team will be coached by Salah 'Salah' Barakat (head coach). The latter has already led OG LDN UTD to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier and has coached North American talents such as those of FaZe Clan. The young coach plans to create a true unity on and off the server. Finally, Harry 'Gorilla' Mepham has been extended for two more years as the sixth player, Joe 'Strong' Edwards as positional coach, and Robert 'Mulgan95' Mulgan retains his position as manager.
The line-up, ready to make its way to the top of the European scene, will make its debut at Riot Games' VCT tournament in São Paulo (Brazil) in February 2023. Team Vitality will then face off against 29 other international VCT partner teams.
