A CONTROLLED JOURNEY FROM START TO FINISH
Under the leadership of captain Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, the roster of Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, William “mezii” Merriman and Robin “ropz” Kool began the competition in Stage 2. Despite an opening defeat against Gentle Mates (0-2), the team was able to remobilize to string together clear victories against GamerLegion, HOTU and G2, thus securing its place in the playoffs.
In the quarterfinals, the team faced Brazilians FURIA (2-1) and FaZe in the semifinals (2-1). Two intense matches in which the players put in authoritative performances. In the Bo5 final against Team Falcons, Team Vitality players brought out their best game and achieved a 3-0 victory.
Frenchman Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut has won another MVP title, bringing his tally of awards for his extraordinary game to 28.
