After recently introducing its new StarCraft II and Tekken teams, Team Vitality welcomes its ninth game to its organization with the RENNSPORT roster. Made up of talented players previously playing under the colors of R8G Esports, the Team Vitality RENNSPORT roster will compete in its first races at ESL R1 on May 17. Full of ambition, the team will be a key asset for this summer's Esports World Cup (EWC) for the French club.
A TEAM THAT RUNS ON THE COMPETITIVE CIRCUIT
The new roster will feature a powerhouse team that has already enjoyed great success under the R8G Esports banner. On a day-to-day basis, the team will be supported by R8G Esports’ engineers and performance staff, as well as Romain Grosjean who will remain the driver mentor.
Launched in 2023, the competition on RENNSPORT was marked by the players of this roster. They distinguished themselves by winning second place in the Spring championship and winning the Fall championship. Finally, the excellent player Marcell Csincsik single-handedly won the Driver Championship during the Spring season.
This team has a performance DNA developed by the founder of the R8G sim racing team, Romain Grosjean. Former French F1 driver and current IndyCar driver, the Frenchman Romain Grosjean has a record of 179 F1 starts, 10 podiums, and has been champion of GP2 and F3.
" It's an honor to join the sim racing circuit with a team with very high potential like R8G Esports. Managing to integrate a French team as part of our international development is a nice wink. Together, we want to extend this dynamic of performance and continue to place Team Vitality at the top of the podiums. The ESL R1 will be a good start before the Esports World Cup this summer. " says Fabien Devide, President of Team Vitality.
