Paris, September 18, 2021: It is with great pleasure that Team Vitality, the largest esports organization in France, unveils its 2021 Alternate Jersey. This piece highlights the brand's roots, anchored in the city of Paris, with the ambition to export them around the world. As a symbol of culture, Paris is a global reference in arts, music and fashion and Team Vitality has chosen to express the city's lifestyle through the design of the 2021 Alternate Jersey.
This year, the jersey is once again white but features grey and copper stripes. The grey represents the iconic streets and landmarks of Paris while the copper colour represents the trophies won by the club since Team Vitality was founded in 2013. For the first time, the Alternate jersey is accompanied by a selection of other garments, including a tracksuit bottoms and a full-zip jacket, two key pieces of sportswear and lifestyle fashion that represent the organisation through its colour palette, and the inspiring city of Paris. The concept behind the collection symbolises the boundless energy and creativity of the capital, as well as the determination and success of the team by using ‘Vitality from Paris’ as the collection’s signature. Showcasing Vitality’s elite and the beauty of Parisians, the Alternate jersey and collection are worn by some of Team Vitality’s finest athletes.
The collection features Nicolas “Nikof” Frejavise, a true Fortnite star who has been playing for Team Vitality for over a year and a half. It also features Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek, a legendary athlete and accomplished star who has made a name for himself in the League of Legends scene and continues to thrive with Team Vitality’s LEC team.
To celebrate the launch of the new Alternate jersey and collection, Team Vitality is hosting the “Vitality Alternate Launch,” a fan event that will take place today at V.Hive in the heart of Paris. Vitality athletes and ambassadors will join fans for this special event and will wear the Alternate jersey and collection. As part of the event, fans will have the opportunity to participate in the re-enactment of the campaign visuals, allowing them to imitate Nikof and Selfmade, symbols of the Alternate jersey and collection. They will also be able to play with and interact with their favorite stars.
This new jersey marks a new milestone in Team Vitality's partnership with adidas, which has seen the launch of several innovative and high-performance products. Earlier this year, Team Vitality presented its Pro Jersey 2021, the first adidas jersey designed from scratch for an esports team. All elements of the jersey: the collar, the sleeves, the pattern... were chosen and worked on by both brands. The Alternate 2021 jersey highlights the duality of Team Vitality: performance on one side with cutting-edge technology and quality clothing and lifestyle on the other, with unique, innovative and creative designs.
