Paris, May 2, 2023 – Team Vitality, the leading esports team in France and Europe, and its sports partner hummel today unveil a new jersey called “Vitality for Paris”. The first third jersey in the history of the Parisian club, it is dedicated to the upcoming international competitions that Team Vitality will compete in, including the highly anticipated CS:GO Major in Paris.
A JERSEY IN TRIBUTE TO THE CITY OF PARIS
In ten years of existence, Team Vitality will finally play in yellow, its historic color. And also pay tribute to its city of birth. Thus, the “Vitality for Paris” jersey is composed of a tricolor design highlighting the history of the club and its heritage:
- Yellow, the color of the bee, which embodies the optimistic attitude and competitive spirit of Team Vitality. It is also a nod to the unconditional energy and support of the fans.
- Black, a color that represents the power and rigor of the team when it measures itself against the greatest teams in the world. It also represents the unity and solidarity of the club members.
- White, for the professionalism of the Vitality team. It also symbolizes the calm and concentration of the team before each competition.
The jersey also features some thoughtful iconography! The most obvious addition at the bottom of the jersey features the iconic Eiffel Tower in Vitality Yellow and black. Fans will also be able to spot the #VforVictory performance signature and the beehive motif echoing the bee logo. Finally, a fleur-de-lis, deeply linked to France and the city of Paris.
A SOCIAL DEVICE DESIGNED FOR TEAM VITALITY FANS
Ahead of the official launch of the #VitalityforParis jersey, Team Vitality launched a teaser campaign across all its social media channels to celebrate Paris. Fans were able to interact with the release of a series of 10 unique creative objects representing both the structure and the city of Paris.
Finally, the new jersey will also be available on Team Vitality's V.Hive app as a wearable after completing a quest in Season 2 called Battle for Paris. The club's app, which has been downloaded over 56,000 times, will allow fans to customise their avatars with the new jersey.
