On the occasion of World Health Day, French esports club Team Vitality is pleased to announce the first KARE collection in collaboration with the Twisten Foundation.
KARE is a project initiated by Team Vitality that aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental well-being within the esports and gaming ecosystem. All proceeds from the sale of this collection will be donated to the Twisten Foundation . Created in memory of young Karel “Twisten” Ašenbrener, the talented Czech professional VALORANT player, the foundation aims to support people suffering from mental health issues.
TEAM VITALITY PLAYERS IN KARE COLORS
To launch the collection, all Team Vitality players actively participated in the campaign to show their commitment to the cause. The collection features a range of items: a hoodie (€59.99), a t-shirt (€24.99), a cap (€19.99), a tote bag (€9.99) and a mug (€12.99). Each product in the collection incorporates typography adorned with mental health awareness mantras such as “Life is Tough, But so are You” or “It’s Okay Not to be Okay”. In addition, the mug and cap proudly display the distinctive KARE logo, reminiscent of the 'K' in the player’s first name.

EACH PURCHASE OF THE KARE COLLECTION SUPPORTS THE ACTIVITIES OF THE TWISTEN FOUNDATION
The Twisten Foundation aims to provide support to adolescents facing mental health issues, in response to the alarming statistics highlighting the prevalence of anxiety, depression and suicide among Czech youth. Through awareness and support, the foundation strives to foster resilience, encourage hope and save young lives.
With the funds raised, the Twisten Foundation will be able to contribute to three separate projects:
- #KAREme , a support service for young people, offers 30-minute online chats with specialists trained in mental health issues. With confidentiality ensured through audio-only sessions, participants receive advice in a safe and confidential setting.
- #KAREtalk, amplifies mental health awareness through podcasts featuring a variety of testimonies from influencers, streamers, gamers, and psychologists. It aims to break the taboo around mental health by providing a platform for heart-to-heart discussions on the topic.
- #KAREwe is a project that also involves parents. The Foundation wants to launch online group consultations for parents, in order to help their children overcome their mental health problems as best as possible.

Since this year, Team Vitality has also implemented the KARE series . Video capsules that offer a glimpse into the personal journeys of its players, coaches, managers and staff members. They highlight the often overlooked aspect of mental health in esports and the adversities that these personalities have experienced.
