TEAM VITALITY AND JBL QUANTUM PRESENT THE WAY UP, A ROCKET LEAGUE TOURNAMENT FOR 14-20 YEAR OLD PEOPLE

  • Co-organized by the esports club Team Vitality and its partner JBL Quantum, The Way Up tournament will pit the best amateur players against each other in the highly technical 1v1 format.

Team Vitality and its official partner JBL Quantum are pleased to reveal The Way Up, an amateur tournament on the game Rocket League for the entire EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Open to young talented players aspiring to live a real esports experience, the tournament will be organized as a major international competition with a first qualifying phase on May 22 and 23. In addition to a substantial cash prize, the winner will have the chance to reveal all his talent to the greatest professionals of the Rocket League scene.

THE UNMISSABLE MEETING FOR THE YOUNG GEMS OF ROCKET LEAGUE

It will be possible to register for the first phase of The Way Up tournament from May 14 to 21 via the start.gg website. Open to all players aged between 14 and 20, the tournament will take place in several stages, all in 1V1 format. All the formats of the different clashes are detailed on the registration website.

The Way Up is made up of 3 qualifying tournaments offering the opportunity to hundreds of young people to prove their talent, under the eyes of renowned casters like JohnnyBoi_i and FuuRy_Off . The six best players, the first two of each tournament, then win their ticket to the Grand Final. Organized in LAN, the Grand Final will take place on September 7 at V.Hive , within the HQ of Team Vitality in the center of Paris.

Open to the public, the Grand Final of the tournament held at V.Hive will also be an opportunity for fans to come together and take part in a unique event. Truly immersed in the atmosphere of the event, players and fans alike will perhaps be able to experience esports for the first time.

A FINAL WORTHY OF THE GREATEST PROS

The six winners of the qualifying tournaments will have the chance to live a unique experience. Immersed in an esports club, they will have the chance to compete in real live tournament conditions and highlighted by the greatest professionals of the Rocket League scene.

Starting with the Grand Finale cast! Team Vitality and JBL Quantum are pleased to have the famous British caster: JohnnyBoi_i , known for shining a spotlight on the game's greatest legends – including the Zen player – by hosting amateur 1v1 tournaments on his channel.

He will be accompanied by FuuRy_Off , an iconic caster of the French Rocket League scene and ambassador of Team Vitality on the same game. The final will be broadcast live and on the Twitch channels of these two casters, in English and French.

Finally, Team Vitality will offer its winners a total cash prize of €3,000, divided between the best players of the different phases. The winners will also receive JBL Quantum rewards. In addition to these prizes, the grand winner will have the unique chance to live an immersive experience worthy of the greatest professional players. With exclusive access to Team Vitality's premises at the Stade de France and V.Hive, the lucky winner will be able to interact with the Rocket League team's coaching staff. Finally, in addition to their JBL Quantum prize, they will have the chance to leave with the hummel Pro Kit in the club's colors.
