Rueil-Malmaison, July 29, 2021 – Inspired by esports since 2019, when it began its partnership with the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), Kia continues to be involved in this exponentially growing sector. Attracting millions of players and spectators around the world, esports has become a discipline combining sport, lifestyle and performance that is not to be missed. Kia is intensifying its ties with esports and partnering with Team Vitality, the number 1 esports team in France. Team Vitality is among the best esports athletes in the world on 8 games and is one of the 10 teams competing in the League of Legends European Championship. Followed closely by 24 million followers, the French team is one of the most successful teams in the country.
Kia France and Team Vitality are launching a unique pan-European digital campaign, the first fruit of this emerging collaboration. Creation and innovation are the pillars of this campaign entitled Voyage to Inspiration and broadcast on the social networks of Kia France and Team Vitality from July 29, for a duration of 3 months. Kia France brings, through this campaign, an innovative vision of its brand orientation, its identity, and its products. As for it, Team Vitality highlights its expertise in the field of esports and digital. This campaign is embodied by athletes and ambassadors of Team Vitality in France and features EV6, Kia's new 100% electric crossover, which offers a range of more than 510 km (WLTP combined cycle) and a recharge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, or 100 km of autonomy recovered in less than 5 minutes!
Innovative digital activations will be carried out throughout this campaign through video content produced jointly by Kia France and Team Vitality, using the new Kia brand signature "Movement that inspires". A co-branded Kia x Vitality product, which will embrace the characteristics of the Kia EV6 in terms of design, performance, and technology, will appear during the campaign.
