Team Vitality is delighted to announce the arrival of a new roster to its Hive. With the introduction of Call of Duty Warzone, the Parisian esports club adds a sixteenth team to its organization on the iconic battle royale game. With this new inclusion, Team Vitality strengthens its ranks ahead of the Esports World Cup later this year.

AN INTERNATIONAL ROSTER ALREADY ON ITS WAY TO THE ESPORTS WORLD CUP

Team Vitality is thrilled to welcome a brand new game to its ranks, Call of Duty Warzone. This latest announcement is a nostalgic reminder to fans that the club started out on Call of Duty when it was founded in 2013. Moving forwards, Team Vitality will be competing in the big leagues, with a roster made up of the world-class talent it needs to secure a top spot at the Esports World Cup.

  • Joni “Patzukka” Nikkanen – Finland
  • Henrijs “Enxiun” Kukulitis – Latvia
  • Steve “Stewo” Fuckner – Germany

This trio is considered one of the best on the European stage. In 2022, the team managed to secure third place at the World Series of Warzone Finals EU in 2022. In 2023, they placed top 4 at the World Series of Warzone Regional Finals and 9th at the World Series of Warzone Global Finals.

Off the back of their recent success, the international trio are determined to make their mark at the Esports World Cup from July 3 to 7. The already qualified roster will play under the Team Vitality colours for this competition as well as the World Series of Warzone later this summer. The latter competition is the World Championship of the 2024 Call of Duty Warzone competitive season, to which the 34 best teams are invited throughout the year.

TEAM VITALITY WELL POSITIONED FOR THE ESPORTS WORLD CUP

This latest signing is part of Team Vitality’s internationalisation strategy for the Esports World Cup. With Call of Duty Warzone, the Paris-based club now boasts seven qualified teams for this summer’s international competition. This announcement further strengthens the club’s ambition to reach the upper echelons of the Esports World Club Championship standings.
