Paris, Wednesday 20th December – Leading esports organisation Team Vitality is thrilled to announce its latest signings for its League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) and League of Legends France (LFL) teams. After ten years in esports, Team Vitality sets out the next chapter of its League of Legends journey with balanced rosters featuring a blend of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers. Team Vitality has rededicated itself to its mission of identifying, growing and developing talent in the competitive scene, and returning to its values of ambition, passion and its loyal fanbase.

TEAM VITALITY REBUILDS SOLID FOUNDATIONS TO REACH THE TOP OF THE LEC

Four new players will join top laner Kyeong “Photon” Gyu-tae in hopes of winning an LEC title. In addition to this promising new squad, Team Vitality relies on experienced and successful coaching staff, and on supporting its players in their development. The team is delighted with the arrival of James “MAC” MacCormack as Head Manager and Patrick “Pad” Suckow-Breum as Strategic Coach alongside Alexander “Carter” Cartwright, Head Coach, with the ultimate goal of reaching the World Championship.

  • Jungle – Kacper “Daglas” Dagiel – 18 years old – Poland: Previously the jungler on Vitality.bee (LFL) roster with proven prowess, Daglas now joins the LEC team in Berlin. His time on the European scene underlines both his maturity, his incredible abilities and the confidence that Team Vitality places in the development of this player.
  • Mid Lane – Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié – 21 years old – France: As one of the most exciting young French midlaners in the European scene, earning the title of MVP in the LEC 2022 Spring Season. Vetheo steps into the spotlight with Team Vitality to showcase his explosive playstyle.
  • Bot Lane – Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság – 21 years old – Czech Republic: One of the best ADCs in the league, Carzzy is making his comeback with Team Vitality having made a name for himself with his aggressive yet precise gameplay. Having a good knowledge of the coaching staff and his teammate Hylissang, Carzzy will contribute to the synergy of the entire team.
  • Support – Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov – 28 years old – Bulgaria: After thriving with MAD Lions, Hylissang completes this new roster with his experience. An excellent model for his teammates, he brings aggressive shotcalling, fitting perfectly with his tank picks and engage supports.

The LEC coaching staff welcomes the new duo alongside Alexander “Carter” Cartwright (Head Coach):

LFL TEAM SET TO LEAD IN THE EMEA MASTERS

The LFL team is also looking to rebalance its team composition. Alongside midlaner Mateusz “czajek” Czajka, three explosive gems are joining the Vitality.Bee roster: Naak Nako, Jopa and Stent. This young roster will be led by a talented experienced player Selfmade with the clear intention to dominate the competition and reach the EMEA Masters.

Vitality.Bee continues to be an academy team to foster new talent but has bold and ambitious goals to reach new heights in the LFL. With its Parisian identity, Team Vitality aims to find success on the French scene where a large majority of its audience is based.

  • Top Lane – Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan – 18 years old – Turkey: The young Turkish player is undoubtedly a true prodigy who stood out thanks to his aggressive and combative playstyle, bringing fresh energy to the team.
  • Jungle – Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek – 24 years old – Poland: The Polish veteran makes his big return to the Vitality.Bee roster. As a player who has proven himself after playing key roles in multiple successful teams with several distinctions including LEC Spring 2019, Rookie of the Season, and LEC 2nd All Pro Team in 2019 and 2020. Selfmade brings more than eight years of experience to the roster and should succeed in drawing real aggression from the start of the season. 
  • Bot Lane – Josip “Jopa” Čančar – 20 years old – Croatia: The Croatian is one of the rising stars of the European scene. He has impressed multiple times in the Esports Balkan League and the Northern League of Legends Championship 2nd Division. Before joining Team Vitality, he led a successful run in the SuperLiga and he’ll look to prove his immense talent.
  • Support – Paul “Stend” Lardin – 22 years old – France: The French player has contributed to the rise of Team Oplon in the LFL in 2021, as well as dominating the NLC to eventually reach the quarter-finals of the EU Masters in 2022. His stand-out performance with Jopa as an established botlane duo in the LFL will act as the stable core of the team.

  • Malte “Krog” Krog (Assistant Coach) – 23 years old – Denmark

In 2024, Team Vitality has set ambitious goals for League of Legends. The club is determined to develop the unique strengths of each player while cultivating a dynamic and fiercely competitive environment, with the aim of propelling itself to the forefront of both the LEC and LFL.
