I’m proud to work alongside the best team in the world, and I’m eager to embark on this exciting new chapter in the world of Counter-Strike 2. While this year has already been remarkable for the team, I have full confidence that we can push the boundaries even further.. I look forward to hearing the chants of VForVictory!” said XTQZZZ.

In preparation for XTQZZZ’s arrival, Assistant Coach Mathieu “MaT” Leber will assume the role of Head Coach for IEM Sydney on October 20th-22nd. MaT has been a key member of the team for almost four years and has supported the team in achieving their most successful year to date.

Team Vitality bids farewell to Danny “zonic” Sørensen and Lars Robl

Team Vitality announces the departure of two of the most prominent figures from its Counter-Strike roster, renowned Coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen and Head of Performance Lars Robl. The French esports club reflects on the achievements it has achieved hand-in-hand with zonic and Lars and bids them farewell as they start their next adventure at Team Falcons.

Both zonic and Lars have supported Team Vitality as it evolved into the esports powerhouse it is today. Zonic helped Team Vitality achieve their dream of winning the Paris CS:GO BLAST.tv Major. Under the leadership of zonic, Team Vitality built an outstanding roster, securing 4 trophies, 16 weeks as #1 in the HLTV teams rankings and multiple tournament MVPs for the players.

Fabien “Neo” Devide, Co-Founder and President of Team Vitality, stated, “We have been lucky to have such a seasoned coach as zonic. With 20 years of Counter-Strike experience, zonic supported us in reaching our ultimate Counter-Strike goal, to build a #1 ranked international team. We wish both zonic and Lars the utmost luck in the future and cannot wait to see them again in the Counter-Strike 2 circuit.

Nicolas Maurer, Co-Founder and CEO of Team Vitality, added, “Danny and Lars trusted us to embark on an ambitious international project almost two years ago. We wanted to build the best international team the Counter-Strike world has ever seen. They’ve worked hard with the players and staff and helped build the best possible roster. We will continue to watch Danny and Lars as they embark on new adventures and wish them all the best at Team Falcons.
